Closeout, only 7 left! A golden, impressive looking Hawai‘i police badge. In place of the pulo‘ulo‘u insignia,a pineapple and two shaka signs have been substituted, since this badge looks similar to the official thing! What is a pulo‘ulo‘u? It's an ancient Hawaiian offical staff, originally topped with white rolled kapa cloth. The pulo‘ulo‘u acted as a boundary marker between commoners and royalty. This idea is carried forward on the police badge, signifying that the police officer is keeper of community boundaries, or laws. Size 2" wide by 3" tall.
